Day and night can follow your clock: pick Follow clock in the settings and the sun rises and sets over your city as it does where you are. The title screen always follows it; day stays the default
Corner buildings: apartments, town houses and mixed-use blocks standing on a street corner now turn it, with a corner version of their style that faces both streets. Seven styles have them: Edwardian, Palazzina and Bauhaus apartments, Altbau and Eixample mixed-use blocks, and Frisco and Hipster town houses
Bus lines can be built with a controller alone: open a station and press Y to connect the next one, with no confirmation step
A station’s panel shows the lines you can change to there, how many riders use it each day and how often its buses come
Choosing a station to connect shows the line as it will run, its new connections animated, and only the stations you can connect to
Clicking a station on the map to connect it no longer moves the camera
Stations connect only within 2 km by road of their neighbours on a line
A witch on her broomstick is in the gift shop until October 31
Placing a building with a touchscreen shows it as a blueprint first
The game remembers windowed mode and the window’s size; the Steam Deck and TV mode stay fullscreen
The Steam Deck’s interface starts at 125%
Water on the maps is a clearer blue
Game Center achievements show in the game on Mac and iPad
Far cars no longer light up every street at night
Fixed a new bus line not opening its editor
Fixed a flash of the old city on the way back to the title screen
